I hope you’re all well and looking forward to the end of this second lockdown; we’re halfway to the end of this period!!
We have been fortunate with the autumn weather and, even though it has been wet and sometimes quite windy, many gardens still have a lot of colour, so it’s not all gloomy yet and the autumn colours are lovely to look at!!
In view of the lockdown and the on-going social distancing requirements, the committee of the Clontarf Garden Society has decided to organise a Zoom Talk and we hope that you will be able to join us on that night.
During the last few months, a large number of people have used Zoom to keep in touch with family and friends and will have the app downloaded onto their computers, so they will be familiar with it.
If you are able to download Zoom onto your computer or have someone that can help with the download, that would be helpful, so that you are ready to join us. If you have difficulty with the download let us know.
I will send out the details of the links closer to the date!! If you need to contact me re the Zoom download, you can contact me via email or my mobile number: 086 8289026
Details of the talk
Date: Thursday 26th November 8.00 pm
Title: “How to add colour in Every Season”
Speaker: Rosie Maye (The Insomniac Gardener)
Rosie was due to give the Clontarf Garden Society talk last April, which was cancelled due to the pandemic. Members may know her from her very informative Facebook and Instagram postings, which are full of lovely photographs as well as guidance/suggestions on growing various plants as well as taking cuttings, sowing seeds etc.
I will be in touch closer to the date to remind you and give you the details for log-into the talk!!
