We hope that you are all enjoying the lovely weather with birds building their nests, flowering daffodils, tulips and the cherry blossom trees!! It makes the quarantining bearable again and encourages us to get out into our gardens!! Our next talk about Blarney Castle Gardens in Cork should encourage some holiday planning to the many lovely areas and gardens within Ireland as that may be as far as we can go!!
The speaker for this month’s talk is Adam Whitbourn. Adam has been Head Gardener at Blarney Castle Gardens since 2009 and, together with the owner, Sir Charles Colthurst, he has been instrumental in transforming the gardens into one of Ireland’s finest horticultural gems. In addition to his love of design, Adam is a seasoned plant hunter having added to Blarney’s impressive plant collection following trips to India and North Vietnam.
